Radar Alignment & Positioning System P-462


The Radar Alignment and Positioning System (RAPS) P-462 is a three-axis positioning system used to orient an antenna or radome with respect to an external RF field. The roll axis is used to rotate the UUT with respect to the RF field. An optional synchronous roll axis can be provided to maintain the polarization of the feed horn for systems which utilize a compact range.

  • Mechanical brakes, stow locks or slow motion clamps for static tests
  • Optional Sync Roll for for polarization of the feed horn for compact ranges
  • Optional slipring combonations available with signal and power rings, RF and FO rotary joints, high pressure gas and high speed data links
